Blue Sticks are used almost all of the time when storing data on a product that is Memory Stick compatible. White MagicGate Memory Sticks use an intelligent new copyright-protection technology that allows encryption and authentication of encrypted data between products and media. MagicGate Memory Sticks are SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative) compliant and are mainly used to store digital audio files that require some form of copy protection.
